Maryland: Helping Brothers

We spent our Saturday at Spousal Unit's oldest brother's home. His young daughter has been suffering from cancer and was finally going home, though not without complication. All three of his children are autistic and he desperately needed help making the house ready for his daughter to come home.

We helped clear a room, stored some things, and then moved furniture around, all while wrangling three little boys who were eager to have fun instead. We managed and had a pleasant time all together, getting her hospital bed into her small room and swept and mopped the place.

It was really good to see them all and help even in a small way.
