In His Steps

Several times this year, I cat-sat for my sister. Today was the most recent time, but I mostly wanted to share how beautiful her cat is. Meet Leia. This is my usual view of her when cat sitting, since she's intensely shy.

Today Spousal Unit and I bought our first pet together. Meet Varric, our betta fish. He's very vivid, as most bettas are, but I can't get many good shots of him. Most of my pictures of him are very blurry. He likes to menace us when we approach his tank, even if it's just to feed him, so I keep reassuring him he's a very scary fish and no one will ever dare mess with him. And yes, his name is a reference to the Dragon Age character.

Camilla's beau, the Technomancer, had to go to a work thingy and asked me to watch his kitties while he was gone. I was more than delighted and took oodles of pictures of them while I was playing with them. Enjoy their adorableness. This is Demon. She's very playful and into everything. This is Sabrina. She's very shy and doesn't like strangers. And this is Mickey! He's elderly and a bit ill, but he was willing to play and seemed to be doing alright while I took care of him. So. Cute.
