Random Saturdays

I solved my photo dilemma. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Rosslyn. Heh, totally solved the problem there. This was probably one of the last photos taken before we both packed up and moved to the frozen north. She was working on her library ceiling (of which I have no pics, as I've never seen it completed), trying to get it all ready for the next occupants. But yes, this is my best friend.  Second on my random list was this Pizza Hut pasta box. We went to Target, and were terribly hungry, so she got a pizza and I got this. The young man seemed to keep watching me, then get nervous, and then he brought our food over. Now, we were gonna go over there and pick it up, but no, he had to bring it. And lo, I see a heart drawn over my pasta selection. Aha. So yeah, somewhere, a Pizza Hut guy thinks I'm cute. Hee. And third, proof! Proof! I now know how to tie a full windsor knot. This is my tie for my new job at a sit-down pizza restaurant. The funniest part? My current apron...was made

Photographic Decisions

What do you do when you have a great many things to say and show on a blog, but the subject of many of your photos would rather not have their picture put up? Mostly, I intend to do without it, but it's hard to hide the face of a dear friend from the world. But, I suppose it does add mystery.

Surprise Surprise!

I'm posting yet again! I would blame my journaling increase on my sudden massive amounts of free time, but that's only a small bit of the reason. I changed the layout and design template for this blog, and I have to say, I like it much better. It needed to reflect me as I am, not as I was. Meh. It's too early in the morning, or too late at night, to get this existential. My doll blog is actually inspiring me. I now have a place where I can put all those pics I've been taking and saving, and I don't have to dig around on the forums for long forgotten gallery posts and the like. I can also be more picky, and put only the photos I want to remember up. It's nice.
I've certainly been busy since my last post. I now work for a pizza restaurant, in a position I think I'll do very well at. I interviewed with a department store, but they were hiring on-call, which would be perfect, but they'd only really need me the afternoons/nights the pizza place would want me most. And the pizza place was actually guaranteeing me hours. So, yeah, no brainer there. I'm hoping for a second job, though, so I can save some extra and cover myself so I can begin schooling. I went and started a blog just for my BJD hobby. It can be found here: Adara's Dollies . I won't be deleting the posts the dolls have featured in on this blog, but I might double post or include some of the same pictures from here over there. I'll try to keep up more on things here and mention if I've posted over there, etc. I've been considering for a long time that I should separate my blog according to my interests. This one will remain my personal blog, but I
Changes come in slowly or quickly, and they can seem small and become so large they disrupt your entire life. I've felt for some time the need and desire to return to school. Well, I've packed up my life, quit a job I really adored having, and moved. I had quite some time shedding things, too. I think I donated or trashed three car loads worth of belongings I cherished and felt lucky to have at one point. I hope they go one to someone who needs them more than I. I am now in the land of Ice and Snow (I can say that because there is still some on the ground and it snowed the day I moved in to my new apartment). I've found certain preferences in me that I'd never considered before. There is so much upheaval in my life. My family is falling apart in numerous ways, mostly due to the divorce and the actions surrounding it's implementation. It's gotten so bad that I must take care what I say to every single person involved, save my little sister. It's funny how w
